The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) is pleased to present our 2015-2016 Annual Report.
Our accomplishments are the result of collaborative partnerships and a commitment to working together to achieve our goals from our members, donors, and partners. This report highlights the activities and numbers from FY 2016.
The MNADV provided education and awareness through print and digital media as well as at statewide events. In FY 2016, the MNADV distributed over 26,000 educational brochures and reached over 63,000 people on social media.
The MNADV conducted 182 trainings for professionals and community leaders on best practice issues, current topics, and the Lethality Assessment Program—Maryland Model (LAP). A total of 4,126 people were trained at these sessions.
The LAP is now in 37 states across the United States. In Maryland alone, 150 organizations have implemented the LAP and a total of 15,073 LAP screens have been conducted. These efforts resulted in 2,729 survivors seeking services at domestic violence programs.
We are working together for a safer future. We are looking forward to continuing our work with you in the coming year.
