In this training, participants will examine the steps to listening with a purpose, identify the importance of empathy, and practice the steps of active listening.

This workshop will review research on strangulation, signs, symptoms, medical and safety interventions, documentation and findings from a hospital-based DV program to help improve response to strangulation victims.

This training is designed to inform DV service providers how the federal fair housing protections can be used to promote DV survivors’ access to housing.
