MNADV Event

This 90-minute workshop will address the intersection of HIV and Intimate Partner Violence. People experiencing intimate partner violence are particularly vulnerable to HIV acquisition, and often face significant barriers to HIV prevention services as well as HIV treatment after diagnosis; conversely, people living with HIV/AIDS face increased vulnerability to abuse and violence. This workshop will address some of the unique challenges at the intersection of HIV and IPV, and will highlight promising advancements in the treatment and prevention of HIV that will provide opportunities for people experiencing abuse who are living with or vulnerable to HIV.
