    Tahirih Justice Center is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and innovative Development Manager for our Baltimore office. The Development Manager works directly with the Director of the Tahirih Baltimore office to achieve annual revenue and constituent relationship goals, helping to sustain and grow the organization’s local supporter base and budget of roughly $500,000. A successful candidate will be energized by the opportunity to strengthen Tahirih’s local profile, drive revenue growth, and enhance overall revenue generation of Tahirih on a national scale.   • On-Call Counselor – Family Violence Response Program at Mercy Medical Center

    Under general direction of the Family Violence Response Program (FVRP) Coordinator, the On-Call Counselor is responsible for providing high quality crisis counseling and advocacy with Mercy Medical Center patients identified as domestic violence (DV) victims. Counselors will intervene with patients to provide assistance in safety planning, danger assessment, advocacy, resource linkage and emotional support to victims of domestic abuse presenting to Mercy Medical Center. Responsible for weekend/after hour/holiday on-call shift coverage as determined by Family Violence Response Program Coordinator.

  • Housing Specialist – Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership

    The Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership (BRHP), a nonprofit organization, is the Regional Administrator for the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program, under contract with the Housing Authority of Baltimore City. The Baltimore Housing Mobility Program has a proven track record of opening pathways to a better future by giving over 3,500 low-income families expanded housing, educational and economic choices in opportunity areas across the region. In 2017, BRHP will assist several hundred additional families to move to communities of opportunity. Each family that chooses to participate and completes the counseling program receives a Housing Choice Voucher, high-quality housing and financial counseling, and support in the transition to the new neighborhood and schools.

  • Staff Attorney – Kids in Need of Defense (KIND)

    KIND seeks a full-time Staff Attorney in Baltimore, MD to help develop, maintain, and oversee the provision of free legal representation to unaccompanied children through KIND’s network of major law firms and corporate partners. This is a full time role funded through August 31, 2018 with the potential for extension. The Staff Attorney will provide direct representation to unaccompanied immigrant children seeking immigration legal relief. In addition, the attorney will recruit and train pro bono attorneys to provide legal representation to immigrant children, as well as in some cases to adult caretakers in state court proceedings for guardianship, custody, or similar matters.
