A training for attorneys, victim witness assistants, and legal advocates.
This practical and interactive session will explore how advocates can better serve self-represented domestic violence litigants. Faculty will describe the social science behind lethality and risk assessment and procedural justice and offer concrete tools and suggestions for court-based risk assessment in an effort to enhance safety and access to justice for self-represented litigants.
